He has practiced various martial arts for the past 35 years. He has been RAT system focused for over 25 of those 35 years. In 1993, he joined the Navy with a contract to go to SEAL training. He classed up with BUD/s 203 in class with the likes of Clint Emerson and others, finished Hell Week but, suffered a career-changing injury. He was fortunate that as a result of his time and friendships built-in training, to train with a SEAL semi-privately for 2 years in the original RAT System as taught to the Teams.

Finally this year he was able to meet up with Sifu Chris Moran whos whole teaching philosophy is one of practicality and real-world applicability. Sifu Moran truly lived up to his promise "We will prepare you both mentally and physically for a real situation. You will learn the totality of combat that is Jeet Kune Do. Most people have no idea how combative JKD really is." @JKDNYC and become officially certified as a Phase One instructor. He has been fortunate in his martial arts lifetime to train with and meet some of the very best.

He just returned from South America, where he built a program for victims of human trafficking using the RAT system, behavioral psychology, micro-expressions training as well as the violence prevention, conflict management and trauma-sensitive teaching of Richard Dimitri as a base. He had the privilege of co-creating the organization Guerrilla Self Protection with Silat Guru Sean Stark to battle trafficking globally. By the grace of God, he was able to help victims of trafficking while abroad, both boys and girls. And, he has even trained and adopted one of the girls into his own family. She, is now making a new life for herself, in college in the US studying exercise science.

He graduated with the September class from ESS Global Corporation's 28 Day all inclusive Executive Protection/Bodyguard Training at their Corporate Headquarters in Tampa Florida.
