Progressive Fighting Systems

Barry Jenkins has been training in the martial arts in excess of 40 years. During that time, he has earned an 8Th degree Black Belt in Kenpo, an 8Th degree Black Belt in Okinawan Open Karate, an 8Th degree Black Belt in Tracy’s Kenpo, a First Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and is certified Wing Chun Kung Fu instructor with direct lineage to the legendary Ip Man. In addition, he has trained in Kali, PaQua, Shotokan Karate-Do, Tai Chi and is a Shootfighting instructor under the World Champion Bart Vale. He has had the privilege of training numerous mixed martial arts champions on a local and regional level. He has been interested in the teachings of Mr. Paul Vunak for 20 years and he considers it a real privilege to be a student of Mr. Vunak. He welcomes the opportunity to be a part of the Descendants of the Masters. He considers it a great honor to have been awarded his Senior Full Instructor certification by Sifu Vunak and is the former East Coast Regional Director for Progressive Fighting Systems. In July, 2014, Sifu Vunak appointed Barry Jenkins as Vice President of Operations for Progressive Fighting Systems.
