Progressive Fighting Systems

He received a certification in Rapid Assault Tactics (Ground & Clinch) and Military Edged Weapons from Paul Vunak as well as Instructorship in Progressive Fighting Systems to teach Contemporary JKD and Kali as a Phase 1 Instructor. He is also a member of the Descendants of the Masters. He is an Associate Instructor in the Jun Fan JKD Grappling Association under Sifu John Doty. He is certified to teach LA Chinatown JKD under Sifu Tim Tackett as a Senior 2nd Level Coach. He is certified Stick Instructor (Single & Double) as well as an Affiliate Instructor in Dynamic Fighting Arts Kali-KunTao Silat under Guro David Seiwert.

He has had the privilege of training with Guro Dan Inosanto in Inosanto Lacoste Kali Method, Kalis Ilustrisimo, Maphilindo Silat and Madjaphat Martial Arts, He has also trained with Guro Daniel Sullivan in Inosanto-Lacoste Panantukan and Harimau Silat, as well as training with Burton Richardson in JKD, Kali, Silat and BJJ. He also trained with Shahram Moosavi in JKD, Kali and BJJ as well as others. As the Head Coach of the San Diego Chinatown JKD Study Group Previously, he has Co-taught the Chinatown JKD Classes as well as teach Contemporary Jeet Kune Do and Inosanto Kali classes at P5 Academy and substituted at UCSD Recreation Center as a Recreation Center Instructor.

He is a certified Israeli Krav Maga – Level 1 Civilian Innstructor under 5th Dan Krav Maga Expert Alain Cohen. He is a Level 5 Krav Maga Practitioner. He received Law Enforcement Control Tactics certification. He also holds as a Level 1 - ATA Krav Maga Instructor certification under Chief Master Daniel Longoria. He previously held a Camo Belt - Level 4 Belt in Warrior Krav Maga (now Warrior Defense Lab). He also has experience as an Active Shooter Defense assistant instructor under Mr. Anthony Landren. He also has training in Combat Blade, Knife Defense and Warrior Kali under Tuhon Apolo Ladra and Mr. Anthony Landgren.

He has certification as Cage Fitness, Warrior X-Fit, and Fitness Kickboxing certified Instructor under Senior Master Michelle Landgren-Lee. Currently He holds a 1st Degree Black Belt in ATA Songahm Taekwondo under 5th Degree Black Belt Mr. Anthony Landgren. He has prior training and experience as a Personal Trainer & P.E. Coach as well as Weight Training and Sports Medicine.
