Progressive Fighting Systems

Hi, My name is Paul Starkey. I train & teach self-defence in Hull, England running a training group called Interception Martial Arts.

I first got involved in the PFS over 20 years ago, training in a small group in Swindon England. I started training in the PFS & RAT as I am only really interested in what works in a real fight. That for me is when someone is climbing through my children's window at 3 am.

That is the lens I see all my training though and why I know PFS is the right place for me.

I currently have an apprentice JKD instructorship with Clive Whitworth in Northampton. I am also a CCI in the Rapid Assault Tactics in his organisation.
